Kalata (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a collaborative shopping-list app published by Dalu. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it. By using Kalata you agree to this policy.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or payment information. Kalata contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Your information is used solely to provide the app’s functionality: authenticating you, storing and syncing your lists across your devices, and enabling list sharing between members. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Kalata uses Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) as its backend. Your data is stored on Google’s cloud infrastructure and processed according to Google’s privacy and security terms. Access is restricted by security rules so that only members of a list can read or modify it.
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:
Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account, the lists you own and their items,
and your membership from any shared lists. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Kalata is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
